Come up with a site, similar to "milliondollarhomepage.com" specifically for poker/casino affiliate sites to advertise via pixel marketing.

I just built MillionDollarPokerShare.com for affiliates in this industry to purchase ad space on. But I decided that I wanted to give something back to the Affiliates that work so hard for their money. The concept behind my pixel advertising campaign is that of a "profit sharing" scheme, very similar to rakeback.

Lets say a site PokerAffiliateWorld.com purchases 2000 pixels. By purchasing 2000 pixels, they will not only get a sizeable ad, but will also get 2000 "raffle tickets." How is this relevant? Well.... When all the ad space is completely sold, there will be a drawing of 6 advertisers to receive a piece of 40% of the profits. Hence, the more pixels purchased, the better chance you have of winning a ton of cash.

Poker affiliates are already scrambling to purchase their ad space and at the same time increase their chance of winning a piece of 40% of the profits. Ad space is currently being sold for 50 cents a pixel. Hurry up and spread the word about this....

Sorry for the delay in between posts. Not sure how many people read my blog to begin with but whatever... It is somewhat beneficial to get my thoughts written down to help myself understand what the heck is going on in my life and the crazy world of poker. I have been extremely busy of late, with college life and all that it brings, yet at the same time I have still been able to find time to work on my projects.

With all that said, I have recently verbally agreed to sell the infamous, TakeTheRakeback.com site to a man in Sweeden. He has made a generous offer to me and I plan on going through with the sale! With the capital I receive from the sale, I plan on starting a new project which I will be sure to let you all know about as soon as I get it off the ground.

I have grown a little frustrated with the poker affiliate world as I recently invested some decent money in the production of a new project called: Stacks Bonus League. This is a site that promotes the great new 3d poker room, Stacks Poker. Yes the site is a great idea (at least I think so). Too bad Stacks will never launch! Word on the street is that they went completely bankrupt and will never launch their official real money campaign. This is truly truly sad.

Back to the sale of TakeTheRakeback.com... It has been agreed with the purchaser that I get to keep all of my current player accounts! YIPEE!!! This is great as over the past few months I have been able to acquire many players who I give rakeback to at various poker rooms such as Bodog, UB, Noble Poker, etc. etc. (Want rakeback, email me at admin@taketherakeback.com and I will hook you up ;)

I will be sure to be back posting in a couple days to keep all you rakeback poker hunter viewers updated with what is going on.

Xbox 360 Contest Sponsored by Battlefield Poker

TakeTheRakeback.com is proud to announce the launching of its brand new xbox 360 contest. My new years resolution is to play LESS poker and concentrate more on my affiliate business at www.taketherakeback.com ...

Recently I have gone on a pretty poor run at Royal Hold'em, I just can't hit to save my life. One day of play I flopped quads 3 times and lost each hand on the river! While some of you may think this is hard to believe, in Royal Hold'em anything is possible!

My rakeback business is really starting to take off with the start of '06. I am averaging about two new players a day which I am very satisfied with for just starting off. I am spending quite a bit of money though advertising on rakerebatereview.com and pokerincentivesreview.com to get my name out there. I also put a small ad in the clasified section on 2+2. Its small and pathetic and way down at the bottom but here it is. Maybe it will catch some eyes and draw some clicks.
Hopefully the new year promises good health and prosperity to all. And I will be sure to keep everyone up to date on how the rakeback business is going, my goal is to make $1,000 from it this month. So sign up please and help me reach my goal! And maybe next time I'll have some better poker stories after I come out of retirement.

Pretty Little Fishy

Being an avid Royal Hold'em player, there are often times tons of fish that sit down at the online table thinking they are playing regular 'ol limit hold'em. They start getting hands like K J, Q 10, J 10, etc thinking they are getting MONSTERS. Little do they know these are very "ok" hands in Royal... Of course anything is possible, and any card can hit the flop, turn, and river, but these hands are no match to AA, KK, AK, etc. They flop nut straights, thinking they are unbeatable! Then they get rivered by boats, quads, or maybe even someone hits the royal (not that unlikely in this game).

They represent their frustrations in the chat box. "WTF, this site is rigged! ... I'm never playing online poker again ... Has anybody gotten lower than a 10? Look at the hand history this is ridiculous..." Really it is kinda hilarious that they do not even realize what game they are playing, some of us regulars do not even say anything to him, although I feel bad and sometimes have to say "look buddy, your playing royal, it says it right there in plain english at the top of the screen." The regulars get mad at me, but really we are making a living off of these fish, you can't ever be too greedy. One night our table cleaned a guy out 300 clean in 15 minutes because he had no idea what he was doing.

As mentioned earlier, pointing out the fish at the table is easy, but capitalizing is a whole different story... Anything can happen in poker, and the pre flop favorite does not always hold up. That's why I think it is important to play your QQ KK and AA wisely against these fish and extract the most you can. It is important to be patient against these fish, because if you try to take them with weak hands they will often times burn you out of straight luck. One time I lost 200 to a fish who had no clue what he was doing, because I got way too anxious to take his money.

But even for rakeback, these fish are really a beautiful thing, because even the pots that I was not in, they were capping every bet thinking they had the best hand, and the rake was reaching the max $3 almost every hand. So thanks to the fish my current rakeback money made was over 200 in the last 3 days, gracias, and I'll see you again very soon.

Awful Day

No this post is not going to be about a terrible day of poker play, I rather chose to submit an article from CNN.com about a terrible occurence that I actually witnessed take place right outside of my apartment in miami beach Florida. If you have not heard, here is the article:

MIAMI, Florida (CNN) -- Investigators are trying to raise the wreckage of a seaplane from the ocean floor off Miami as they try to determine what caused the craft to break apart and slam into the water, killing all 20 aboard.
The vintage seaplane was headed to the Bahamas when it went down Monday afternoon. Amateur video showed the plane coming apart and part of it slamming into the water in a fireball.
Mark Rosenker, acting NTSB chairman, said a salvage team would attach balloons to the pieces of the Grumman G73 airplane and try to lift them onto a barge Tuesday.
"It might be trucked to a hangar, but we'll do a preliminary investigation when it first gets on shore," Rosenker said.
Teams would also continue their search for the aircraft's cockpit voice recorder, he said, in the hopes it will contain clues about what caused the fiery crash of the seaplane, which was built in 1947.
Investigators said they are treating the incident as an accident and that one factor might have been the plane's age.
"We'll be looking at operations. We'll be looking at human factors," he told CNN, as well as the plane's structure and engines.
Divers were mapping the crash site Tuesday morning and documenting the debris field through photographs, Coast Guard Capt. James Maes told CNN.
There were no apparent survivors of the crash. Nineteen bodies were recovered Monday, and the U.S. Coast Guard will search again Tuesday for a 20th person.
The airplane, operated by Chalk's Ocean Airways, was carrying two pilots, 15 adult passengers and three infants to Bimini in the Bahamas. (Map)
The plane, which takes off and lands on the water, crashed about 2:30 p.m., officials said.
Amateur video shows what appears to be the fuselage slamming into the water, followed moments later by an object engulfed in a large ball of fire -- possibly one of its wings. Trails of thick black smoke could be seen in the sky. (Watch amateur video of the crash -- 0:26)
"That's a truly remarkable piece of film," said Robert Francis, the former chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board. "This piece of film will now allow the NTSB to prioritize, a little bit, what they're looking for in terms of the wreckage."
Witnesses had described hearing a loud explosion and seeing the plane break up.
One woman said the plane was flying "pretty low" and "a little bit loud," when, "all of a sudden, we just heard it blow up." (Watch witnesses describe the plane's plunge -- 1:52)
"I saw two pieces, and it went down into the water," she said.
Another witness said he saw the wing come off, and "it exploded."
The crash prompted an urgent search-and-rescue operation involving the Coast Guard, fire department and other emergency departments. Three Coast Guard search vessels, aided by private boats and at least one helicopter, scoured the waters.
Chalk's general manager, Roger Nair, said the crash of Flight 101 was the first crash of a plane carrying passengers since the company was founded in 1919.
"We are a close-knit, family airline, and most of our passengers have been our customers for an extended period of time," he said. (Airline history)
NTSB records confirmed that the airline had never had a fatal accident with passengers on board before Monday. However, one of Chalk's planes crashed in March 1994 near Key West, killing the two occupants, both pilots.
Monday's crash closed down the main ship channel leading from the Port of Miami, Maes said, adding the the channel will not reopen until the wreckage is removed.
"We're hoping we can reopen the channel sometime today," Maes said.
A spokeswoman for the FBI's Miami office said Monday two agents were sent to the site but that there was no evidence of foul play.

Arrived in South Beach Miami

After traveling all day, flights being delayed, etc. I finally arrived to my second home in beautiful South Beach Miami apartment that overlooks Fisher Island. I'll be sure to post a snap-shot when i can. Sure beats the frigid weather of Baltimore Md. The only downside of traveling was that I was not able to log on and play at all yesterday. First day in a while I went poker free, felt kinda relaxing, no bad beats to whine about, no money lost, the only bad part about the day was my flight being delayed, and the turbulence on the plane that seemed to occur every 10 minutes!

I'll be hanging out in Miami for around a week. Hope to check out a heat game and watch Shaq, and D Wade tear shit up. Once I get my new lap-top set up on the wireless network here I will be sure to play for an hour or two when I can and post my results like normal. Keep checkin back for more updates.

Royal Continued... 5 minutes

Just logged off of ultimate bet, after being on for 5 minutes.... literally. I sat down at the 3/6 royal hold'em table thinking I was going to be there for a while after playing earlier for hours just to try and break even. I posted so i could be dealt into the hand, and the very first hand i recieved was AA. As i smiled and placed my cursor over the raise button, I thought it might be a good session. On that particular hand I caught an Ace on the river that gave me a full house. The next 3 hands I got dealt AK each time, won them all including the last hand where the flop came,
K K K. Dam, I shoulda taken a screen shot of it! Next time I will. It was sweet, especially when the other guy had AA, and capped the raising pre flop at $12. I was in first position on this hand so I checked to one person behind me who also checked back to the raiser who thankfully bet into me. I knew if I raised, both would probably fold, so I smoooooooothe called my quad Kings so the one other person in the hand would call behind me. I did this after the flop, and after the turn. When the river came, I bet, and got one call. Not bad to make $100 bucks in literally 5 minutes of played.

Royal Hold'em

As I logged on to Ultimate Bet to play my regular game of 2/4, 6 max limit hold 'em game I sat down at a table that would forever change my poker life. As I flopped sets, and straights, I found myself losing to runner runner royal flushes, and runner runner bigger boats / quads. One could only imagine that I was cursing up a storm, "WTF! I have never seen this many bad beats in my life!" A couple of hands later I realized that I was not seeing any card below a 10! I thought to myself that this was very odd, so like an idiot, I posted about it in the chat box.
Me: "what the hell is goin on here? is this game rigged or somethin?
Player: "It's called royal you idiot"
Me: "uh yea i realized i lost to a royal flush the other hand... That was ridiculous!"
Player: "No, you are playing royal holdem!!"
After I realized what the hell was going on I thought to leave the table and to never return. But I still had 100 bucks left in my account... I thought hey, lets give it a shot, maybe I can get the hang of it. So i played, and played some more, and slowly caught on. Before I knew it I made that 100 that I lost back. I sat out and went into a "normal" hold'em table, I got dealt cards like J 3, 7 4, 10 3, it was boring to say the least. I realized that after playing royal, I did not have the patience for regular hold 'em anymore, I liked seeing AK, AQ, KK, AA, more frequently. So i decided that I am going to continue royal and I'll let you all know how I do later on.
